RightFax + Qliq

Integrating RightFax + Qliq provides a fully HIPAA-compliant communication method to organizations. Send messages, file attachments and faxes easily and securely to patients and coworkers.

Secure Messaging and Digital Transformation

The healthcare industry has changed in recent years with the expansion and growth of telehealth services and technologies. Telehealth has helped make healthcare more accessible and approachable for patients. As healthcare organizations are realizing the benefits of telehealth, they are finding it more important than ever to ensure all services are efficiently and accurately provided.

However, the lack of interoperability between telehealth technologies and traditional systems has introduced a significant challenge in the development of a seamless experience for patients and staff.

Learn how leveraging OpenText RightFax, the market-leading fax server solution, and Qliq, a HIPAA compliant, secure texting solution, can serve as the vital bridge for your healthcare communications, all while providing the interoperability and security you need.

What is OpenText RightFax?

RightFax is the industry-leading fax server solution that allows organizations to send and receive faxes electronically, eliminating standalone fax machines and inefficient handling of paper faxes. By turning business-critical documents into part of an electronic workflow, you can:

  • Easily accelerate the speed of business-critical processes
  • Maximize employee productivity
  • Improve information security

Plus, RightFax offers the latest enhancements in document delivery technology to seamlessly incorporate fax into all existing office hardware and applications such as Exchange, SharePoint, MFPs, EMRs and other back office applications.

Streamlined Workflows in Qliq

With RightFax, users can send either a fax or SMS message as part of a workflow or business process from Qliq. Whether sending a shipping change notice, order confirmation or patient appointment reminder, the transmitted data is submitted as an attachment to the RightFax Web API.

The RightFax API will then return a link to the uploaded attachment that can be used by the fax server. That attachment is then used to create a send job that references the attachment and allows you to include destination and recipient information.

Once the send job has been submitted, you will receive a Send Job ID and relative links to different aspects of the send job including the document interface. You can then track the document through the document interface. You can also leverage the document interface to check for status information, review metadata artifacts such as conversion history and download the fax image.

Qliq users can also receive faxes on their mobile and desktop devices converted and delivered by the RightFax API. The RightFax server receives the fax and determines that the destination is a Qliq user, processes the fax into an SMS or document and securely delivers it to the Qliq user’s inbox.

Once delivered, RightFax sends a confirmation of delivery to the original sender maintaining regulatory compliance and an auditable trail.
